You can reach the NMSC by public transport on bus no. 225 (Vilvoorde–Kortenberg). This bus stops at the church in Melsbroek every hour on work days, and every half hour during peak times in the morning and evening. There are no buses at the weekend.
 

Buses also run via Zaventem, which stop at Melsbroek Oud-Station. It's a 15-minute walk to the NMSC from there.

• 651 (Leuven–Zaventem)
• 681–682–683 (Mechelen–Zaventem)
• 820–821 (Dilbeek–Zaventem)

The closest train station is in Vilvoorde, from where you can take the bus to Melsbroek.
